Absolutely. I try not to park at Walmarts, but if I have to, I call and ask, and have been given permission at "no truck" stores as well.

 

Building stamina is part of the training. And with your prior experience may be one of the few things you need to work out. Should go quickly.

I hope they send me on the cross country, Canada and Alaska runs. I want to run, not make short trips. I know that short trips are part of the job, and I don't mind doing a few. I strongly prefer 3, 4 and 5 day trips.

 

I see you received your training from the School of Hard Knocks... I tend to learn from my own mistakes too...

 

Good Luck with that... I was offered one Canadian trip but it was right before my wife's surgery... I considered taking it... But... Wiser thoughts prevailed... LOL

 

How'd you let it go so long?

Make sure you go by DMV and have them put it on your license immediately. You can upload it to DMV's site, but they usually take a couple of days to approve it and put it on your record. I believe Florida automatically downgrades you the day your Med Card expires. I'd go into an office, just to make sure it doesn't get "lost in the sauce".
