There's a couple different sites selling them from what I can tell.
Predator10kdiscountantennas.com
and
johnspredator10kantennas.com
With about a $13 difference in pricing. Are either of these places known to be selling knock offs?
Also, I intend to get the dual coil short whip as I need to keep my height at 5' or less. Does anyone know which shaft I'll need to accomplish this? One of the sites offers 3 lengths the other only two...
Any help/info is appreciated.
Where to buy Predator 10k online.

This is where I bought mine from.
It is not a knock off and shipping was quick.
Make sure you get the heavy duty mounting stud also.
What kind of truck is this going on?Evvy Thomas Thanks this. -
Bob's CB shop also sells the Predator 10-K antenna but I'm not sure what he charges he also sells custom length shafts for the Predator 10-K antenna
Evvy Thomas Thanks this. -
Effingham CB Shop has an eBay store front which sells them.

Unless they've changed the center post material, I will never buy another.
The plastic insulator on the shaft was a PVC plastic (I believe). PVC is a massive static electricity generator and would build a huge differential (only while moving) and discharge back into my radio. This was mainly on very dry days or especially during dessert storms. Took a bit to figure out what that zapping noise was and where it was coming from.
a delrin plastic would be a better choice.

I wish I got out that far east. His price is about the same as I'd pay with shipping.
An embarrassingly noob question. I've read that the dual coil sw tunes in at about 5 feet. So if i order the 12" shaft as opposed to the 9" shaft does it then come with a shorter whip? -
I never bought one. I have no idea
-
I think they all come with same length whip and then you just cut it down to set your swrs. I've got the 9" shaft and it works perfect on a 379 Pete. I bought from John, good guy and you can call him to see what he has in stock.Evvy Thomas Thanks this.
