6 months clean and you'll be good to pick a company based on what they offer and not on what kind of drug test you have to take.

    ThrowawayUserName Thanks this.

Roehl says they do both tests.

BTW doesn't matter what you shave, they will get the hair. it doesn't take much, filled a 3 inch long 1/2 inch deep fold of paper or so. gal felt bad doing mine as she had to shave some from my legs. LOL like I care about a bald spot. LOL

Even if they do a hair follicle test they are still legally obligated to do a piss test as well. DOT doesn't recognize hair tests yet, only urine. So they either have to do both or just urine, no such thing as just a hair test.

Go back to vegetable farming. You'll make more money there....and you can spark one up whenever you want .

Post #1 mentioned that the OP was out of work. Chances are that he got laid off from his vegetable farming job.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

This is a decision that I am trying as hard as I can to commit to. Doing anything for the better part of 10 years is going to make it difficult while quiting.
As for making more money at vegetable farming, thats a hilarious joke in and of itself. And I wasnt laid off, I grew tired of my manic, borderline personality disoder inflicted boss, and quit willingly. I wasn't willing to put myself in a berating position any longer.

Anyhow, I appreciate everyone's P's and Q's, good information all around. As of right now, im going to continue working towards my written test. Ive a DOT physical scheduled, and if all that goes well I plan on applying to the company my friends father works for and see if I cant do my 'road training' under him as the 2nd half of a team. Much cheaper route for me at the moment. Thanks again yall
