Sodrel Trucking has been around since 1915 running mostly day cabs now. Hauls mail and has a small freight division. Plus coaches and school busses. Has a 5 digit dot number in the 50k range. Decent company to work for. Local to central and southern Indiana.

Mawson and Mawson. Oldest MC# still extant. All flatbed, all sidekit wagons.
Decent enough carrier, an unfortunate amount of Aluminum freight (cheap). They'll run you just as hard as you want, and a bit harder. Loose leaf paper logs, 65mph trucks. Mostly O/O, about 10% company trucks. Cascadia midroof tractor, DD15 motor, 10 speed manuals.MandoDub Thanks this. -
This seems like an interesting topic so I'm resurrecting it. Does anybody have a list of the oldest numbers still active? I'd be pretty interested in a database with every number ever issued with date of instatement and status. Might have some interesting information.
