Is there any owner operators that lives in North Carolina that is affected by this recall?
otherhalftw Thanks this. -
Probably is...but they are out on Hilton Head at the golf tournament!Jay1978 Thanks this.

I'm still on the band aid fix here with my 2016........where the hell are the single piece replacement shafts!!!

Thx. This is just ridiculous on Volvo's part.
Jay1978 Thanks this. -
Yeah, it really is. That's why I filed the suit.

Think about this like a logical human being. How long would it take to build an extra 26,000 shafts? It can't be done over night. But it is getting done. We've gotten a few shipped in last week.
-
Well, since we're talking logically, the answer would be.... ZERO, since logic says you wouldn't keep using the same failed design that has, and has been causing problems for years. But that's just me, I just drive the darn things, what do I know?
I guess maybe they could have also logically spotted the real problem on the original recall in November 2015, then at least they'd be 4 months ahead of the game.
Darn those pesky facts, but point taken. Logic just doesn't seem to be working oit too much.KB3MMX and otherhalftw Thank this. -
^^^ Exactly!!
Replaced a design that worked(single piece) with a new one that failed miserably and should've been an obvious problem. First time I looked at the two piece I said it didn't look safe!
**Anyway, to mass assemble these replacement single piece steering parts they should have several vendors producing them.........How many actually are??Jay1978 Thanks this.
