Interesting, I wonder how many drivers in some of the poorer countries become truckers for the living quarters? Does it make you a better prospect? "Hey baby, I got a condo cab Freightliner!"

In term of pay scale, i think it above average. But becoming a truck driver is not something that everybody can do or want to do. " better prospect"? Yes, unless you become a boss.
They used to have cab over Freightliner, international,... But now conventionals with studio are taking place. And the law doesn't allow trucks live more than 25 years of age.

Most carriers won't let you lease on if your truck is older than X number of years, usually between 5 and 10.

Were in the process of restoring a 93 ch600 63in mid-roof. Its a 350 vmac2 but hes gonna order the 15.3:1 comp pistions from the 454, the 350 comes with 16.5:1, throw a set of new heads on it and order rochester stage 2 ingectors and the blixxton programmer along with the bigger turbo off the 454. should pull like a raped ape and still hold together my dad knows to keep his foot out of it. Im gonna post up some pics.
