    Ok so I currently run reefer for time definite services sumterville fl. I'm looking for a company running out of Fl with decent pay as well as decent hometime. Rt now I'm averaging $1200 a week at 36 cpm. I've only been in the industry 18 months. Any suggestions??

    When I was getting calls from Lessors they want you out 3 weeks with a 1.5 day a week home time gain. Probably the reason why most of the Pullen Bros drivers never transferred over. It was my reason for sure.

    Publix Drivers have to start in the store or the warehouse. There is a 2 year waiting list to drive trucks for Publix rumor has it. Definitely a sweet lick with great benefits though. Actually according to the Publix Hiring Page its 8 to 10 years.... Crazy

    I heard its tough to get in at Public but I've also heard the pay and benefits are good. I'm not sure you're going to get home more often with some of the companies mentioned. You might check Craig's list and check with some of the private fleet drivers at the trucks stops.
