All your common places, considering how close you are to Indy. Truck Dealers, Diesel engine repair shops, some of the big truck part dealers have their own ovens as well. You would be best off calling some local companies and asking where they get theirs cleaned at.

It's true a lot of places say they can do the work, but that DPF system is complicated, and that filter is Expensive. Maybe your factory shop can refer to a reliable outlet?

You can go to the dealer and do an exchange program. I have one with my local freightliner where they take the old one and just put in a new one. It's cheaperStarboyjim Thanks this.

Is your truck throwing up any fault codes pertaining to the aftertreatment system? Because that'll be the difference between wanting to just get it cleaned and reinstalled and having a more in-depth diagnosis - where they'll inspect the dosing injector for leaks and flow rate, check the aftertreatment fuel shutoff valve, etc., etc. - to be done. Any shop can drop a DPF, send it off to be baked, and reinstall it. Actual diagnosis and corrective action to prevent an issue from recurring is a different matter.
-
How do you know when your filters need to be cleaned or exchanged?

Manufacturers have recommended cleaning intervals. If you don't follow them you take a chance like my current boss, $9k in repairs and now in for another $4,700 today.
