    Most states have signs up indicating you have a grace period to pay a missed toll online. So you'd have a better time paying a missed toll than you will getting money back if you paid twice. I'd have ran the E-Z pass lane and fixed it later if needed.

    A couple times on the Indiana or Ohio Turnpikes my I-Pass didn't work, so I took a ticket. The I-Pass did work when I got to the other end of the turnpike, and I kept going. I never heard anything about it from my company, so I don't know what happened.

    I got other answers and supposedly they now have to have the ability to bypass your responded if you pay in cash. I figured! despite the fact most people been telling me otherwise, they cant take your money like that twice. It amounts to stealing.
