    I'd rather go back to eating the chow hall slop than TS food.

    I eat out of cans (soup, pre-cooked meats) and boxes (crackers, peanuts, trail mix)... It's the only way I figure I can maintain a lithe 190. My only concern would be the sodium content and my blood pressure... I'm German-Irish; I already run a bit hot. So, soon, I'm going to take it upon myself to learn caning and preservation, so I can better control what is in my food.

    It's kinda of a shame that there's a Chinese takeout place in every town in this country, but because they don't franchise (actually they do, see where their menus are printed, but that's another issue) you can't tell the good ones from the bad ones.

    One thing I have to compliment McDonald's on, they are astonishingly consistant nation wide. Consider that a Big Mac tastes the same in San Fransico as it does in Orlando and Boston.

    I'm not saying it's actually GOOD for you, but you have to admit getting that kind of consistency nation wide is an achievement in and of itself.

    As a life long bachelor, I ate out most of the time even before I took up trucking. So I'm used to it. However, when I can I seek out a mainstream eatery before going to the truck stop. Still though, some days there's nothing better than the buffet at TA Meaning Dang right I enjoy it.

    Russell s, oh yeah! More than once I've faked my log by as much as an hour just so I could stop there for a steak or even a burger. They also have an awesome c store and I love the honey doll waitresses in the diner.

    Theres a handful of places that ill look forward to grabbing a real meal from, though if I'm going to spend the kind of money I usually only do it when meeting up with my Dad or brother on the road. Other than that its striating fast food for lunch if I eat lunch. I usually have cereal in the morning and make something for dinner myself.

    I have one to add to the list;
    Check out "Wheat Montana" deli in Three Forks Montana. Really good fresh and non-gmo breads. Their sandwiches are phenomenal. And there's a fair amount of truck parking to boot. Deli is located just north of the Three Forks exit and there's a truck stop just south of the exit.
