I feel like it is still taking me a long time to load, and that a loading sequence for cars won't necessarily work when there's big units mixed in(seems like most of the time in my world). So is there a loading order you stick with most of the time? When do you have to do it differently? Let's talk 9 units for now as I want to get good at that before I start adding.

Load and strap then raise tractor top. I load all three on trailer top then strap and raise. Then load all 4 on bottom strap and release pins. Drop everything down gone. Depends on locations ive loaded 9 in under an hr. Usually around two hrs out the gate. Sadly I can load 11 in 2 hours or less out gate. Got to develop a system.

Ok so this is what I've been doing. But it seems like getting the 3 on the trailer top up high enough to clear an SUV or truck going in the belly is pretty tight? Was wondering if I should have loaded the tractor completely, maybe load only top front(maybe top rear also) trailer and leave top middle of trailer until after I get something big in the belly?

I drive a day cab, I don't have issues. I raise all 3 on trailer all the way up I can clear suburbans etc. Had 2 4 runners in belly today.

Exactly this. Anytime the top was going to be tight to get a big one in the belly, it was quicker to load 1 2 3 5, get em up, load 6 & 7, then drop 4 back down to load after you've got the front ones down.

It was very rare to have a small enough load of 9 to flat deck the top, so I'd throw the first four on, raise them, then load 5, then all 4 on bottom. That seemed to be the easiest and quickest.

Ok awesome thanks! I am slowly getting this figured out. Would love to get my load time down to 1-1.5 hours.

I use my flippers to avoid the belly issues. I load the whole top of the tractor first then tuck in my flippers and load the top of the trailer. That way if you have clearance or height issues you can always slide the decks still. Make the truck do the work and save yourself the headaches

Im not sure I follow you? Seems like sometimes #4 can not be raised high enough to get something under it? Without pushing #4 into #5 anyway

Ok so we re on the same page #3 I call it is first on the trailer. I tuck in both flippers on #3 ( if it's a car or suv) park on the flippers. Then I slide the deck all the way forward . That way I have lots of room to play with when I raise it up.
When I have to split deck I keep the decks almost a foot apart so they're out of the way.

I forgot my 3 deck top rear tractor slides so I can get more room in the air.
