    Hey All,
I have two years experience on reefer, and then four months on tanker. I'm saving up money for a down-payment on a truck, and I'd like to live in Las Vegas. Right now I'm OTR. Problem is, when i search the internet for opportunities in Vegas, I just get OTR mega companies.
So, anyone able to point me in the right direction about opportunities in and around Las Vegas? I'm open to hauling anything.
I'm even open to driving as a company driver for awhile, but i'll probably end up with my own truck.

    I appreciate any help,
    Steve

I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a local, home often opportunity. Trying to get off OTR and actually live a life.
    Thx

Why do you figure you need your own truck?

Other then construction, to which you'll need a dump truck if O/O's exist in vegas. Your probably not going to find anything in vegas. Other then the 2 sheetrock plants. One is by the southbound nevada check station by the loves truckstop. The other one is in the hills by the air force base. Seems like they do daily hauls to california. I don't know if them trucks are company trucks or o/o's and if they're bringing a load back from a customer somewhere or coming back empty.

I think @Chinatown said he lives in vegas, he'd probably know more.
