    I ended getting paid that $300 for detention from that chicken plant. I didn't even have to call in for it.

    Been here almost a year and a half... still waiting on a $2 a mile cross country load!
    Still have yet to see one o_O

    I saw a load from GA to CA paying $1.29 this week go in about that time. o_O

    I pulled a load from Houston to Seattle over 2200no paying 1.62mi...don't see many that long paying that kind of rate..

    Yeah, good loads come out of there, but they stay on the board less than a minute most of the time.

    You can be picky, but not too picky. Gotta find the right balance or you might get stuck there.

    I typically don't have any problem because some of the loads have rather long delivery times, so I grab one going north and sit on it at the house for a day or two, sometimes three.

    Now that they are charging us for tolls in Texas though, my trips down there will likely become few and far between.

    I see loads from Houston and Laredo that pay really good going up to Washington. Barely balances out though for me as the loads coming out of there tend to suck.
