My KW has a smart wheel and the switches to turn on the cruise and jake are on the steering wheel. I ended up having to have a new clock spring installed in my steering wheel to fix the same oroblem described here.

I have 2007 frieghtliner classic, series 60, cruise works only while driving and not in pto mode, replaced cruise switch behind dash inline with parking brake valve- switch that dealer says controls cruise, does anyone know what the other two switches are mounted with this is there a pto mode switch

Same issue..only problem was one pin broke on jumper to speed sensor... Replaced for $56.50 at kW and Jake/Crusoe work fine..that's after I spent $3,800 on parts I didn't need

What's mattar with that factory wiring?
Something taint right. I had a 2001 century with the big 500 detriot and no trouble on the cruise and jake (It was a auto truck too.. but that's not the problem...)
