Talk about being a white boy lol
-
A few loads and assorted pics of interest.
Trees,.. paid ok. They pretty much did everything. And thats the only nice thing I have to say about this load. Their tarping sucks,.. I had to redo their "Twine" about 6 times before I had enough and used my own straps and bungee. Talk about a flag sailing in the wind. I was so embarrassed.
.
Easy tarped load of steel boxed tubing. What killed me was that when I got to delivery,.. they store them all out in the yard,.. rusting. I didnt bother asking why they wanted us to even bother tarping it in the first place.
.
I took one for the team with this load. Picked up at a marina in Guilford, CT, that went down to another marina in Columbia, NC. After detouring to avoid the southbound tolls between Jersey, PA, Del and Md,.. the rate came out to $1.57,.. ouch.
.
Enjoying satellite TV on the road,.. absolutely loving it. How ever,.. it wasnt with some issues. Seems the dish needs to be insulated from vibration when its searching to line up for the satellites in the southern sky. I had it bolted directly to the pole,..it refused to find the satellites while on the pole. When I get back home I'm going to get some rubber gaskets and foam padding,.. that should do the trick. For now I've been putting it on top of my window AC in the door with an old bath towel in between. Works like a charm as long as I can park where no one can park next to me and block my signal.
.
If your going to get passed,.. this is how I like to get passed up.
.
Seems they really like crows in Minnesota,.. aye MJ? I think this was in Mn,.. correct me if I'm wrong,.. someone else has to have seen this before. Its a big ### bird.
.
All I can say is,.. this is nuts. But hey,. sign of the times.
.
It ended up to be more like 1 hour to go 5 miles,.. this was probably the worst traffic jamb I have ever been in.
Delays? Thats an understatement.
.
This guy had loose straps flailing like jump ropes. I tried to get his attention as I passed.,. he just nodded and waved,.. continued on with out a care. The other thing is,.. and only guessing here. But I have done loads of rock like this before,.. and they way he had it loaded on his bed,.. those things are not light. I want to guess he has to be well over 34k on those drives.
.
I thought this was funny,.. his car died at the funeral home. LOL
.
Bros before Hoes!

freemoneykev, 4mer trucker, Ozdriver and 2 others Thank this. -
When I was a kid we had a "pet" crow my dad named Noot. He would walk outside and it would land on his shoulder. Craziest thing you ever seen.
I can't remember the story anymore. Seem to remember that dad rescued it as a chick or something. I'll have to ask my mom.Dye Guardian, johndeere4020 and Hurst Thank this. -
The last set would bring walnuts onto the back porch and then go up on the roof and peck on the vent to grandma's bathroom until she came out and picked it up.
Grandma was feeding them raw liver one day, she would slice it up for them. Well they ate a LOT of it. 3 days later we found out what they were doing with the liver. They were hiding it in my sister's bathing suit that she left out on the clothes line.. LOL Boy was she mad.
Whenever we were not home they would dive at people that came to the house. They even chased off the neighbors.Dye Guardian, Ruthless, Hurst and 2 others Thank this. -
Moved this yesterday and they used it all day today and then I had to move it again this afternoon.
Dye Guardian, Ozdriver and Hurst Thank this. -

Going to order 4 of them right now and see how they work out. They look easier and safer than my favorite snap binders.
Thank you for that!
