I want to update everyone to this post I got my Class A with tanker in January of this year. But now no one will really talk to me because I have no experience. I did all the training on my own. The only companies it seems interested are swift, roehl, maybe knight. Knife river turned me down. Everyone has been saying it all depends on what the insurance company says.
Beginning to think getting my A was a mistake. I didn't have 5000 for a trucking school.
Take care
Ben

Getting the Class-A wasn't a mistake; you just haven't applied to the right companies. You'll be on the road in a couple of weeks. Submit a bunch of online applications at the same time.
Ignore "experience required" and apply anyway.
@KÃBLR - submit the online apps. then follow with a phone call tomorrow. This gives them something to look at while talking to you.Last edited: Apr 25, 2016

Jim Palmer again said that they would like to see me in a 120 program, and at this point they can't bring me on. Thats what Alex said. I think she's a recruiter.
