I've been in that dock. Never again.

I was there in the winter when it had to be tarped.

I should also add it took them 5 hours to load me.

Today's load to NW Iowa. It was snowing fairly good. rsz_img_20160428_101824329.jpg

How does your bull guard fold with the pieces that go into the wheel well. Do they swing out of the way?

Saw the funniest thing going through Austin...

Running through the night minimal traffic. Truck in front of me in the right lane. I'm in the middle about to pass, but I am unsure about the car ahead of me in the middle lane. A slick top county comes by in the left hand land zips by me, but as he's going by the car in the middle, the middle lane 4 makes a hard left. They nearly collide. The county had to brake HARD. You know he spilled his coffee. The 4 realizes that's it's a county Mountie, tries to behave. He goes right and slows wayyyyyy down. County, still in the hammer lane is pacing him. The truck in the right lane comes up on the car, and flash him over. County swoops behind the truck, right lanes it and comes behind the car. And the disco show begins.

    Perfect timing.

It swings straight down with the bumper. They just clear the fenders. My understanding is that guard came off a Peterbilt. The guy we got the truck adapted it to this one.

Yeah, that place is something else. Mercer truck was in the other dock when I got there, he was there 7 hours, I was there for 6.

Rate was good but its just not worth it. It took me close to an hour to get around the building because the path was only one truck width wide from all the junk laying around.

I hauled my load to a big GSI dealer in NE IA. It was blowing and cold so he told me to drag my tarps in his shop to fold them up. Great guy. He pointed to his truck and trailer sitting next to the shop. He said they won't go there anymore because of the hassle.

Load of d8 dozers blades and arms. Was supposed to be 35k. Judging by my scale was closer to 13k. I will take that every time.
