Learn to work on them? About the only thing you can do now is adjust the clutch, grease the chassis, and check the fluid levels. You have to be an electrical specialist to decipher the engine. Sencers are a major concern but you have to know how to read the codes, or even get the codes. It sucks that we've past the days of the 335's when you could pretty much do an in frame on the side of the road.
workingklasshero and Home_on_wheels Thank this. -

Don't walk, run away from that truck at your first opportunity.
I don't even want to imagine how much trouble I was going to have with that truck as the mileage got high. One year, more than two months of that year in the shop was the end of the line for me. -

Cledus Snow Thanks this.

Y'all are mentioning getting the bugs worked out. An engine going boom and sending the fluids out is not a bug. That is a major problem, one that engineers will likely want to take their precious time investigating.
Most likely, that engine is coming out. At the very least, it's coming apart. This is happening at a dealership (in West Virginia), which is the last place you want any serious engine work done, not that anybody else is even capable of touching that engine.
I don't like spreading doom and gloom, but I wouldn't want to risk what future problems will likely be created while they try to fix this problem. -
