Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

They wont be getting any of my money. I only found one channel that i didn't get tired of after an hour and that was the easy listening instrumental "escape". No way I am paying good money for that.

I also found that it cuts out a fair bit.

 

Why do some drivers roll down the road with their tandems all the way to the rear? I've seen it quite a bit and was just wondering. Inquiring minds want to know!

 

One thing I need it for is the news channels... (Fox, cnn, bbc, pbs)... I am tired of being out of the loop as to what's happening in the world. Flags at Half Staff? Who died? No clue. Or listening to the debates.

And I like local radio but got to be lucky finding one I like before it fades out. And I use to listen to A LOT of Talk Radio on AM but this radio is just nothing but static on the AM Band.

But I have heard that their music selection and rate of repeat is not the best. Maybe just a smooth jazz channel in the background as I roll.

Guess I will toss $50 bucks at them and then decide in November if it was worth it or not.

I never pay the regular price. They will haggle. This time I good price plus a new radio for free.

 

Have seen that a lot lately myself. I know that the longer wheelbase gives a smoother ride as stated above but I thought most states had a bridge law and it was a ticket but it does not seem bother them. I would like to know myself.

 

Could use your phone to download Spotify. Not sure if you can play while also using the phone as a GPS. If it was me I'd just be carrying a cd folder haha but that would be a distraction probably.

 

Have some more questions about Abilene. I read somewhere they like you to find a doctor/dentist in the Richmond area. Is that true? Also since I am based on the West coast. For home time would I have to park at Richmond and fly back?
