How do I hook this antenna up?

My company installed my Bearcat 880 CB today, but the antenna connections they provided in my Pete don't match the antenna connection on the back of the CB.

The CB has one round attachment point, about an inch in diameter. The company provided two individual connection cables. There is no place on the CB that they fit. Is there a piece missing or that I need to buy?

I am trying to upload two photos from my mobile device, but maybe I've given enough for you to help me. Thanks.

I think you need Pete's antenna box. It hooks the cb and am/fm radio to the cb antennas and then to the CB. I think the one in my 2013 386 is gray or black.

    DenaliDad Thanks this.

Does the stereo work? If not, I would guess the combiner/splitter was removed.

You can get a BNC to PL259 adapter. BNC is on the cables, pl259 is on the CB.

The radio does work. In fact, I use a jumper plugged into the aux panel to play my SiriusXM radio.

He was asking about the am/fm side of it. But that will still pick up strong signals without an antenna I do believe.

Even if you buy the splitter, your CB won't be as efficient as it should be. You need one good quality coax from your CB radio to your antenna for best performance.

What you are showing is a BNC connector, To convert to the CB connector you need a UHF male to BNC adapter. If you find a Radio Shack that's still open, you can get one there..

I did check today on the road. The FM side works fine. I think I'll have to look for the converter @Radio Dr.
