    Also, another way to look at this is: what are your strengths and what segment of the trucking industry would be best for you in regards to those? If you have a lot of customer service experience and talent you might want to find something that requires more of that (HHG, LTL, car transport?) or if you're better at doing the books, managing money maybe you'd be better off learning about brokering and getting a brokers license and running some of that under your own authority with your own trucks. Maybe tell us more about yourself and your background and you could end up with more helpful specifics.[/QUOTE]

    I am good with books, service, finance, accounting, information technology, Marketing. I really don't understand brokerage but it would be nice to have and use

    I don't drive and I bought 1 truck... now I'm looking to start expanding slowly tho ...... But I'm a small business banker and some of the businesses in my portfolio are trucking companies....
