Cummins ISX CM871 Technical discussion[/h] -
The CM871 has both EGR and DPF. Not making any assumptions here, and taking your question literally word for word, are you asking if anyone has deleted the EGR and left the DPF on? If that is your question, then my answer would be no never heard of it, and can't imagine why someone would. But if you are wanting to delete it all then vangtransport is correct.

Yes it can be done I have done research. It keeps all the soot out of motor because this motor has problems with soot. But the research I have done says if your motor has bad soot problems this means either the imp sensor is dirty and the engine is over fueling or you have bad leaks in your cac system. Also they are well known for the injector cam slipping on the gear causing rich conditions. The best thing to do is to have your oil checked for high soot levels. The spec is no more than 3 ppm soot level in oil. I know alot of people changing oil filters before the oil change is due. Have your soot levels checked before you wipe your rings out from high soot.

Funny you should say that because that is what I'm dealing with. 2009 cm871 kw w900 that was bought from a hillbilly dealer in Delaware. Has 170K on it and has EGR deleted but the DPF still on the truck. I've unplugged every sensor on the DPf housing and I have no lights or codes appearing. No idea what tune, who, what, when, or where. Regen doesn't work so I should probably get that think off here. It's an Ohio only truck now.
