@Rontonio, just curious. Will U be taking it someplace to be cleaned out and repaired or is it being junked?

From how my company treats stuff, I'd wager they will clean it and repair it. The paving company I work for recycles everything. We have an off shoot company that will do free demo work so we can get the broken concrete and process it and resell it. We take excess old dirt from tore up streets, add lime to it and turn around and sell it.

We have multiple bins at our yard to separate the trash from the scrap metal to maximize returns. They pinch every penny. They bouilt an asphalt tank farm / factory to sell hot mix to other cities. No stone goes unturned.

The story is the machine caught fire about 1 year or so ago - full of asphalt. So no steering, power, brakes or Hyd.

It was sold at auction as is/where is.

I took it way out into the country in Texas, where they are going to try and repair it - think lots of brute force. My guess is it will be salvaged for parts.

I did my part and moved it - and yea it was a bigger pain than I had anticipated.

I took that POS to a guys house outside rising star. Then bounced to Victoria this morning and loaded a 336 for Cali, yes way more trailer than necessary but they pay ok so I take. Bob tailed to Ganado for a shower and driver de-grease and will leave out in the am.

Was figuring if you were close I'd come pick you up for a home cooked meal, shower & you could crash in one of our spare rooms. The old lady is on vacation & has been stirring up some excellent grub, tonight is homemade lasagna.
