over priced, in my world. They're selling fear - of emissions, of dependability, all that. It'll probably work for them.

Nope, from what you see on the Schneider side off TTR ,they went to the latest models off trucks.
    DEF,DPF and EGR..............the full works.
So Schneider much figure those gliders are less efficient then new trucks.

I'm sure that Euro-3 engine is the most efficient.

Yes, Euro-5 saves fuel a bit, but u have to dump money for DEF system and other emission stuff.

That's why we use to do full rebuild of old vehicles

They might be going to trucks with the latest EPA stuff to make it easier to shift trucks/loads around. The newest trucks can go anywhere, gliders can't.

Wonder what it would cost to have it painted from that awful orange color.

I bet it would be at least $6K, just depends on how good of a job you want done. If a guy two toned the truck with black it wouldn't look too bad and would be a lot cheaper than painting the whole truck.

Only California. My glider goes everywhere else. I gave up doing anything west of I-25 in 1999. Don't miss it one bit.
