I don't sweat it much. Only that I care that the company remains in business.

Chewy, you are a company driver, correct?
One real advantage to being a company driver is so much less stress. I remember one time my buddies asking me about the rates we were getting, how much we were paying for fuel, and so on.

"I don't know. Other people take care of that. I just drive."

Ahh, the good old days. I didn't realize how easy I had it back then.

    Load #3 today.

    8- 8' Norway spruce
    1-5' Donald whyman lilac
    1-7 gallon miss Kim lilac

I gotta say I'd almost rather run this setup more often: no dot, no overwidth permit, no high mile days, no "held to a higher standard" bc people think I'm just another 4 wheeler dragging a wagon ####### like they are

I agree, my buddy has bounced around because companies he was leased in to got frustrated that he wouldn't take losing loads, they only cared about getting their %, not caring if it would make him lose money.

This is my first hourly trucking job and ai love it given the current econony. Here is an example why:

My companies solution to prevent me from being bumped today when we have to go pick up that excavator from that job site that isn't ours. They told us to come in at 3am so we can go get the machine when there is hardly no traffic.

So we get it loaded up by 5am but we can't leave till daylight, so I made myself a bed on my deck and had me a nap on the clock.

Oh yea, so I ended up moving some cones to totally close the road going northbound, sure enough about 20% of people try to drive the wrong way down a one way road.

My second load of the day, gravy train!

Ok, thanks. I was going to do one straight over underneath the two if it were a tall stack like the ones in the middle but they turned out to be short so I didn't... I appreciate it.
