I started orientation with them today they hire drivers who live in Texas and in OK. They have Texas only and OTR. They are owned by HEB a Texas and Mexico supermarket chain. HQ is in San Antonio Texas. They are a Reefer and Dry Van company. They hire O/O only and they have a lease program with quality carriers in Waxihachie Texas. I'm doing the lease program. They use the quallcom but only for dispatching loads so you'll be using paper logs. There were 3 rehires in class today. One of them came back because the frac sand thing burst. I'll post updates as I go along.

I'm looking for companies to lease onto as an O/O. financing is nearly impossible even though my credit score is like 730 and I have good credit. I'll have to put a lot of money down which will take me about 4-6 months to save up for, So it looks like my best option right now is Parkway Transport Inc. in San Antonio Texas on their L/P program. They mostly do loads for H.E.B store chain, and hire only O/O. I've looked everywhere and I can't find any reviews on them besides their Facebook page. Which is almost a five. But we all know how that can be altered. If anybody works or has worked in the past for them, I would like to know if they are a good company to work for?

Stay away no miles u bring home about 750-1100 per week ,they have a high turn over in drivers they hire about 7 -10 drivers a week

stupid button posted my comments before I could finish. What I was staying is that I had too many repair issues with the prostars. So I'm just going to wait it out and keep calling the other locations until they get more trucks. You have to pay your own way to pick up the truck but the leasing company quality companies will pay for the fuel back to Texas when you get your truck. But if you have your own truck you should be ok. If you in a class with a few other people going for lease purchase you could all put your money together and go to the Texas location. Unless you want a prostar I'd advise you to wait for awhile before going to parkway.

You should have used Loan Mountain to lease a truck. Quality only rapes drivers with their total amount of payments

The main issue now is the truck it's been in the shop twice already for turbobooster issues. First it was the sensor and then the accutator. And now the check engine light is on again. I'm doing a truck lease through quality companies. They are the truck sales division of Celadon. So far they covered all the repairs which is not coming out of my pocket but it's cutting into my money because the truck is in the shop for 3 days at a time and then I lose a day of work because of me being in shop status. So I'm not making the money I could be making right at the moment but it's no fault of Parkway. The major thing I don't like about parkway is that $5,000 escrow which they take $150 out per week. Right now I'm making $630 a week after everything is taking out. I'm just doing Texas for right now the short term. If it wasn't for the repairs, I think I could make like almost $900 a week doing Texas regional. I was suspposed to start doing a few California runs but that's not going to happen now with the fires and all. Another thing I don't like is the H.E.B. Super single trailers. Their turning radius sucks. There are a few other minor issues that I will post later.

Quality isnraping you guys. Add up the total payments and compare it to Lone Mountain or other companies who lease/finance and you would have almost $100k in payments

You can lease a truck thru Quality Leasing with NO MONEY DOWN. It's a no fault lease program,means walk away if not satisfied but make SURE you return truck to a Quality Terminal! And they do lease with Parkway. I'll probably be taking mine there if can't get going with Celadon presently. Look up Quality Leasing and check out their partner companies they lease on with. He was leasing through Quality and mentioned that in most of his statements. They are just raping you drivers. Use another means to get a truck. If you get a used truck, you will have a lot of problems and still over pay what it's worth. Get a new one and you will pay a extra $100k in payments compared to a regular lease or buying it through Loan Mountain. Quality Co is a joke.

I had lone mountain before quality. That didn't turn out well either. But now I have a 2017 Volvo directly through the a Volvo dealership.

I'm at E and H transport I was finally able to get finiancing for a truck directly through the dealer. I got a 2017 Volvo for 15,000 down for 2900 a month truck payments
