International Paper. I'd guess that while I was there 2010-2014 we were hauling 30 or more loads daily out of statesville and similar numbers out of IP warehouses in Newton and charlotte. Most were only 200 miles or so. A lot of #### runs but a few good ones here and there.

 

Slow white truck and white trailer chugging up back and forth on I-95 equals, North East Maggot Truck/ with driver cam and 200% driver turnover! Dig in maggots!

 

Was checking fuel options this evening and saw a lot of Loves show up. We using Loves now?

Worst job I ever had in my career.

 

All that and I walked out of orientation. They found 10 reasons to fire me before I ever drove 1 mile. Chitty place!

 

As long as they're paying the bill, of course they can tell you where to fuel. I've always had plenty of choices. If I wanted to make all the decisions I'd buy a truck and run independent. I don't want the headaches. Are there better companies? Sure and I'll always keep my options open. But they have been a good company for me to start with.
