I have an 86 peterbilt 349 single axle (about 170 inch wheelbase ) that rides really rough. I know the shocks are probably shot. Can anyone tell me if there is something I can do to improve the ride besides new shocks? My father in law has a single axle cab over frightliner with about the same wheel base and it rides pretty nice. Thanks

If the cab is rigid mounted, that alone will make a truck a beater. -

Hmmm... I'd say start with replacing the shocks.
