Buying cars at auctions

In KY you have to have a building with signs up and they come out and inspect it before you can get the license.

 

This is Texas specific, but no license is needed to purchase @ the police impound auctions. I've bought a few cars from the huge impound in Fort Worth.

 

In new york you need a store front that will be inspected and you also need to buy a dealer bond and have a commercial auto policy to get your dealer plates.
You also need the mv 50 dealer book that contains the transfer paper work when you buy and sell.
I think the mv 50 book is around 500.00 in ny
