    If the Dept of Labor gets involved it will not fix the industry, it will simply trade the current set of problems for a new unfamiliar set of problems. If drivers refuse to work for companies that treat them poorly that will do the most possible to reform the industry. It won't fix it, but you can only fix your situation not everyone's situation.

    They will do platooning more likely as they will always need someone unload it. It sucks working for McDonalds mighthave brighter future gonna go up to $15 an hour and u will always be needed to flip burgers for for seeable future

    $15 a hour is $66,300 a year. Just doing the math.

    15x40=$600 a week

    600x52=$31200

    Check your math son, ain't nobody gonna give you 20 hours of ot a week to flip burgers either.

    $15 X 40 hours=$600 per week. 52weeks X $600=$31,200

    What companies r u talking about? Swift, Werner, jb, ect. How much of there drivers have less than a year exp? 80%? 90%? They hire guys right out of school that r so happy they "landed their first driving job" then quit after 6 months of getting screwed. Meanwhile companies has hired more fresh meat. And the cycle continues
