I believe, and I could be wrong, but the 12k on the steers is just the result of subtracting the 2x34k from the 80k total.

But the steers "limit" is based on tire and axle ratings... Not the 12k default limit.

    Again, I could be wrong.

And ultimately it is your call.

    Now I broke the trailer.

My slide stop is all jammed up in the slide and bent the frame. Guess I'm fired now.

Yeah man think you worry to much.By the way why is it so hard to sweep out a trailer. The one I picked up a few days ago coming out the house in Wilson was full of nails,i'll just drop it and let the next man deal with it smh.

Anyway delivered my rescue load in Groveport and was sent to Indy to grab an empty, couldnt make it all the way before I ran out of hours,so i'm sitting at the pilot at the 96 exit. Not a big deal only 30 miles out don't have to be over there till 0800 in morning.

Yea, I do worry. I'm very limited on what I can and can't do. I cannot afford to loose this job.

    Sorry for venting on here.

    MidWest_MacDaddy and JohnBoy Thank this.

Vent all you want, that's why we're here. But also listen to people. We won't steer you wrong. That weight question? As long as you're under 80k, you can go up to 20k legally on your steer. 13,500 is the most I've ever had, and for me that's enough.

Lonesome, 4mer trucker and KD5AXG Thank this.

After spending all day in the Richmond yard and the KW dealer, every last thing was fixed, including a recall item. We left the yard at 5am this morning on our way to Edmonton, at least I am, Carl? He will be spending a day and a half in a motel in Shelby MT. No passport, no border crossing.

    I second what JohnBoy said...

I have always gotten good advice from the more experienced drivers here...

And, it's good to vent to your fellow drivers... There is a difference between just venting and the moaning and groaning that other drivers seem to enjoy doing, constantly.

    So ask the questions,
    listen to the answers,
    and vent as needed.

    Stay Safe,
    MD

    Lonesome and JohnBoy Thank this.
