Well it's May 12th, 2016, and it's not all over the news that all trucks will be governed at 65 mph in 2015. Don't believe everything you see in the news.
Prime has the SLOWEST sorry trucks on the road today, it's not even close

If you lease a truck with Transport America, depending on which lease plan you sign on for, your lease truck will be governed between 68 and 72 mph.

I know; I made up that story. Was just trying to stir up some mess.freightwipper, Getsinyourblood and Air Breeze Thank this.

I sure hope they aren't dumb enough to govern all Trucks at 65 mph. Can you imagine the huge traffic jams that would cause. But then I wouldn't put it past the idiot's that run this Country. I figure 95% of the problems in this Country, and the Trucking Industry is caused by Government interference.Chinatown Thanks this.

Yes, and we keep re-electing the same people that cause all the problems.drvrtech77, 48Packard and Air Breeze Thank this.

I am a Prime lease operator and must say that you are right about our sloowwww trucks. Under 62 mph is by choice of that driver (fuel bonus incentive). Mine is set at 65 mph and that is where I run at. I pass our trucks ALOT!! Drivers don't do the math on driving slow vs. ride the governor. Time is $$ and the fuel bonuses do not make up the difference. I agree, it is very hazardous below a certain speed.
freightwipper Thanks this.
