Looking at the pix of that new Lonestar, I think all the drool and slobber just shorted out my keyboard, had to run to the wife's computer to send this .

The wood and flash are nice-but it will still come down to initial cost, MPG, reliability. Got to make sense to make money. Rather have a beat up Columbia that makes plenty than a show truck with a $2500 payment that spends lots of time in the shop.

Don't think I'll ever buy one, but they sure are nice looking, inside and out.
Never was a 'binder fan, but I think they have a winner there!

I think the Prostar & Lonestar run about $125,000.00. How would this compare in price and monthly payments to Friegthliner?

I read drivers are having problems with the Cascadia being in the shop to much. Regeneration problems, shuting down way to much. One guys frontend would shake. They couldn't find the problem. It got fixed by hitting a big pot hole. The front tires scaloped and wore out. :biggrin_2554:

I have checked out a ProStar.
It is a nice looking truck, for an aero.
Maybe in 4 or 5 years I will buy a used one.
Right now though the prices are dropping fast on used trucks.
I saw an add in my weekly truck paper e-mail for 30 379 Pete's.
They were all 2005's, Mid sleeper, cummins ISX, 13 speed tranny, 3.55 rears.
None had more than 300,000 miles. Most no more than 250k.
All were for sale for around 38k each.
    They sold within 2 days.

Thats why you never buy the 1st year of a new model of anything! Let JB Hunt and Walmart work the bugs out!

Yep, the Casadia sure seems to have some bugs. :biggrin_25526: If a person buys a new truck shouldn't they just be able to get in it and drive, only going in for PM.
