I got it 10 years ago. Some of my bones are already that of a 70-80 year old before I hit mid 40's

It's not fair. But I don't worry about it. I don't expect to be around more than a few years at best. No im not suicidal. I just don't expect to get much past 60 anyhow. ive had a good run.

By the same token, I refuse to get all mean and nasty getting old. I intend to be 16 for as long I can. Bright and happy all the time. Now if I can remain that way remains to be seen LOL.

Had that fright 2 weeks ago. Was early morning, still dark and I backed in between two yellow long nose Petes, easy to remember right? Came out after taking a shower and I see two yellow Pete's but not my truck. I freaked for a minute. Turns out there were three yellow ones there and a fourth one had backed in and the truck in between those two had left. So I was looking at the wrong hole but god, for a minute I about lost it. But really how often do you see four long nose Pete's in one row at the truckstop.

The dream I have a 10% chance of having on any particular night when sleeping in a vehicle is that it is rolling away.
I cannot count how many times dreaming where I've literally leaped into the driver's seat and slammed on the brakes only to then wake up in that seat gripping on the wheel and holding the brake pedal down.

This can be particularly embarrassing if your girlfriend is asleep next to you when it happens!

Dropping a load of strawberries, my first ex wife's mother was at the guard shack. When I finally got to the receiver, it was the second ex wife. Then when I finally got a door, the lumper's were my second ex wife's mother, and my first ex wife.

Really, the one I have when I'm getting punchy is head on collision, or collision from the side, somebody screaming through an intersection, but I never get hit always wake up just before impact.

I had a long time dream of a white vehicle coming at me from the right hand side, and nowhere to go. It finally came true when I was changing lanes several years ago in my pickup truck, and she changed lanes in front of me going much slower.

Wouldn't say I have trucking related nightmares, but I do have dreams of places I've been and places I hated and remembered as being a pita

We'd routinely run 100k on 5 axles and in the landfill on a steep hill the parking brakes wouldn't hold, basically spring brakes on 2 or 3 axles and probably out of adjustment.

Used to dream truck was rolling back and stomping the foot brake. Been a while since I dreamed of trucks. It's back to females, usually wake up with a tall shifter!

Ssshhhh, the government will hear and make us strap ourselves in our bunks to correct a problem that doesn't exist.
