Is this the 6nz everyone covets???

Not sure how the 6NZ is but the BXS Acert C15 in my truck was originally a 435/1650 motor. They flashed it to 500/1850,.. night and day difference. No mechanical changes needed. Said BXS are the same mechanically from 435hp - 550hp. Only difference is in the ECM.

Even at 435/1650 it was still a decent running motor.

Steel top Pistons,injectors,turbo,cam. Just get serial number off a 475 or 550 6nz and do a inframe on it those multi's are not noted to get good mpg one I had in 9900 int did around mid 5's the 475 high turque did best mpg get them to flash ecm with that. I've had a multi torque a 475 and 550 6nz i liked the 475 best with a tune.

 

Run the serial# you may not have to change any internal parts to bump it time a 550.
