You can probably google "Freight Broker Training" and come up with a list of those who train? I have one that emails me all the time, says they can make you a freight broker for $1895. It can either be IN Class Training or internet but they are in Texas. I think its ATex Freight Broker Training? Guys name is Alex.

All i saw at first was "My wife wants to be a freigh..."
Not sure why I wanted it to say "My wife wants to be a Freightliner" so badly -
OP do this ^^^, all of the companies like the ones mentioned here should have some sort of agent recruiter or agent development personnel. Get in contact with them and see if they have any agencies that are looking to bring any new sub agents on board. Each agent runs their office differently of course but you should be able to find someone that will let your wife work remotely as long as she has access to the right equipment to do the job (office, phone, computer, etc.).
There are usually links on each company's website explaining their agent program with contact info to ask more questions. I can help you out with a few if need be, just shoot me a PM.asav24 Thanks this. -
Does your wife dispatch for you? if so that counts as experience. Most Brokerages want a book of business with a minimum of 2 yrs xp. In some cases they will even give you a huge upfront check if you sign your book of business over to them.

No she doesn't that's the plan eventually hopefully years down the road but thank u for ur input -
The online stuff is a scam. Brokering is regulated in that its subject to a set of rules that govern the relationship between the shipper the trucker and broker. Most brokers want the available trucks. I would advise she first learn the trucking business. She should also memorize USC title 49 word for word. Only after this should she try a online course, having established a point of referance. JJ Keller is reputable.
Good Luck.
