Can you shere
Where are they from???. -
You're adding an axle they've already talked about the frame and stuff. What do you have for a 5th wheel and how much slide does it have?
-
I don't have much there either, that's something i foresee change too, i got a standard spec 379.johndeere4020 Thanks this.

Don't cut truck in half and add. Add frame rail to the back then move suspension back. It would also be a good time to insert inner frame rails up to trans at least. As long as you have 1860 series driveline and trans that will be enough. Rears i wouldnt go any higher than 3.70 ratio. Fith wheel should be able to slide at least six inches ahead of front drive axle. Can get by with less? Yes, but reliability will have a short life.

Great tip SH, thanks a lot
-
Whats your reasoning for this?
-
Only 1 splice in the frame rather than 2.
-
I get that...
I don't consider two seams a bad thing. As long as its done by a competent welder... and if it has a sleeve inside. Moving the suspension back is considerably more time.
