I'm from Omaha ...worked for Clint tew in Townsend ...still a friend of mine .

 

I'd love to drive in the midwest only but don't know many carriers that do so. That hire cdl grads that is.

Yeah, lemme guess...Vietnam vet, special forces, own a tropical island, fabulously wealthy, but is trucking because he is bored. Learned directly from Bruce Lee. And is 50 yrs old. 7 generations direct descendent from Captain Ahab.

What @cnsper ran into is one of those guys that sat at a lunch counter in Pennsylvania telling everyone how hes heavyhaul and pulled a half million lb load across the turnpike. Somebody checked him and he had to leave but every time he gets caught lying and gets checked, he changes his story so noone will check him.

So he goes out to Montana, sees a truck with no flags, tries to step up, but gets told that he should stick to offering butt sex to grocery warehouse lumpers.

Geez, I was just trying to help....
On that note, if I see a guy with a loose chain, is it considered bad form to tell him??? Or if I see something on his dented rusted trailer that requires a tetanus preventative to even get near?? Tell him he's missing a football-sized chunk of tread???
