search for spots open in specialty areas...heavy haul...LTL..local...Goverment jobs pay great...My buddy runs a water truck for 30 bucks an hour for the county, has the easiest job on the planet...automatic everything...frieght aint great bubba...think bigger...seek it out and buggem for a shot...if need is big, lots of ltl will take no exp drivers and train em up...Maybe the circus, or a dirtbike team or a country bands stuff, union gigs etc etc...railyards can pay good,,,,area dependant like everything else,,,,
    think big yo

Take a crappy part time driver. dock worker job at good union LTL company, ABF, UPS, YRC etc etc...work your way to a hunderd k life no problem...Lease your own truck onto it...double your money

Best path, got it all figured out...be here all week thank you

If you got clean record, check DOD jobs, high dollar stuff like what SLT does..(securelandtransport)....ammmo and gunnns and stuff...
Pissson all the companies your mentioned

I got buddys who chase the harvest (in field) loads...sweet potatoes etc etc..sugar beets ra ra ra...3.50 to 5.50 a mile, different places at different times of the year..need a live bottom trailer, some kind of end dump/belly dump trailer...make a mirron dorra

Any opinion on working for UNION companies? I hear both good and bad. They are hiring at ABF not too far from here.

Dood, go to ABF....end of discussion,it'll be your last job as a company driver...IM JEALOUS...My town too small of a market..ABF has 5 drivers in my town...and they aint leaving...so, just do it...lie cheat steal whatever it takes, bring in some slow cook potroast, donuts...layit on thick with TM offer to clean trucks on sundays, rake the parking lot...Ive looked at em all....pros and cons considered, bs and benefits factored in. Id say def ABF....
Leave for a sweet UPS gig maybe..but thats it

Appreciate the help everyone. I will apply for the ABF position. I might look at Roehl as well since they have a flatbed division that run in my area.

    A&M Transport
    ACS Trucking Inc. - Cheny,WA
KKW Trucking runs western states only
    Lynden

Is Knight Transportation still doing intermodal in WA? Call and ask.
