No, I wanted to see what other drivers thought. Very helpful.

I don't know if there is any law regarding that or not. I have wondered about that myself. I do know that I was raised in the south and it would have been considered rude to disrespect the deceased's family's loss by not stopping for their procession.

In Alaska one must stop if it is four lane. If there is a center median or fifth/center turn lane, opposing traffic is allowed to continue without stopping.

Reminds me of the first time I ever drag raced (motorcycles).
The tree counted down and I left a bit early. The red light came on so I stopped and waited for it to turn green again. :(

In rural Indiana school zones, say speed limit &# mph when children are present. The times are not posted and a lot don't have a signal light. Therefore little Billy Bob could be playing tag with Mary Ann on Sunday afternoon in the school yard. And you can be cited if the officer chooses. It doesn't have to be a school day.

Not sure in Arizona, but I stop.
School buses, any buses, are the bane of my existence.
I think dropping a gear and hitting the Jake would serve as enough warning not to walk out in the street.
Wait, these are educated children, what am I thinking.

Here's a good one... What about ambulances on the freeway? Pull over and stop, or just move over to the lane they aren't in???
