Even a rough estimate depends on factors like what kind of truck you drive and what your driving record and credit look like, neither of which you mentioned. A mere three people have listed actual numbers and there's already a $900/month variable, more than twice the entire amount of the first estimate. If you can't be bothered to provide details, much less make a couple phone calls, your future as an O/O doesn't look too bright
Curious about permit and insurance cost

I am still a company driver right now and I am not going to be buying a truck for a few years because I want to buy a house for my wife first. But it is never too early to get an idea of what people are paying I am not asking for exact science I'm just asking for a ballpark so if it's $900 difference then it is what it is. At least that gives me an idea of what people are paying. Is that enough specifics for you

Just call permit places! Sheesh!!!!
Chasingthesky Thanks this. -
$11k a year swing... Close enough
Everything will be different in a few years anyway... Oh well
Can't wait for his thread about leasing to CR England -
You'll be waiting an awful long time cuz that's never going to happen I'm not stupid enough to lease a truck without the numbers making sense. I'm very good with numbers and money that's why me and my wife will be able to put at least a 20K down on a house in about 3 years. And as far as my priorities go my family comes first before anything. Trust me if I ever decide to go owner operator the thread you guys will see is my success story cuz I'm not going to just jump into it like a lot of people do. The only reason I'm being forward about it is because of the comments about me not giving out specifics. I wasn't doing this to get a really good idea on insurance cost because I was doing it right now I was putting this thread on so people could put what they pay for insurance so that other people can look at it aside for me and kind of see what it's costing. Sorry if I wasn't specific enough for people. If you can't handle the heat don't jump into the fire.
