Any other cleaning products that may be accessible and safe to use?

There are several chemicals out there that are "environmentally friendly" that will work but it takes a while. As far as liquid asphalt goes, nothing cuts it better than diesel, just sayin...

You'll get over trying to keep it clean. There's a reason some of them have the black middle.

I wouldn't heat up the knife... Just pick a hot sunny day ....

Diesel is ok but ether won't leave any residue .

Where can you get ether? And is necessary to open the dome lid while unloading?

I would always crack the dome lid open, never trusted vent pipe but it was always a rented trailer I would be unloading..

Went to the hardware store today. Got a putty knife both metal and plastic, blow torch, extra propane canister, spray bottle Nd the manager gave me a half gallon of acetone for free. Cleanup time

Honestly there is no way to keep it nice. I loaded off the rear today and cleaned it out nice with diesel and it still got everywhere. Very difficult to avoid in the rear
