If TQL load you know it "cancelled". For this wondering TQL is notorious for cancelling loads bc shipper they say when actuality they covered for cheaper and do poor business! But you said ch Robinson, I had good luck with them not cancelling. Rates you never knew lol.
Is freight starting to pick back up yet?

I almost want to book a local with TQL just to get some new customers.
"Oh the load cancelled you say? Oh hold on a minute (broker) mumble mumble mumble yes that's great chuck, go ahead and finish loading. Yeah hello (broker) I talked to chuck here at xyz, he said the load didn't cancel, and that he doesn't like dealing with dishonest people that provide poor service. Chuck and I had the discussion now that you've dropped the ball again and I'll be taking this account over for you from here on out- toodle loo!"stayinback, freightwipper, tommymonza and 7 others Thank this. -

Possibly, never followed up, however after years dealing with the same people I'm sure you can smell the absolute desperation for certain loads and hustle them top dollar.

I will never load a TQL load on my trailer.
shanman and Junkyarddog5958 Thank this. -
You think things will be back to normal next Spring?
-
I think this may be the new normal. There are more stores closing down than opening up. Pessimistic , yes, but unless there is any evidence of the economy getting better, that is what I believe. Think about where you could go for another career.....keep thinking.....keep thinking

Sports Authority just announced they are closing all their stores after not being able to negate their bankruptcy.
Why Sears and JC Penney is still in business is beyond me. A dying dinosaur .
The average American family is tapped out.
Inflation and rising taxes along with dwindling salaries is leading to a real problem
The next big crash is going to be new car sales followed by car repos .
The lots down here are littered with new cars, many left over from previous year.
Cars last forever now, buy a new Japanese junker and change the oil every time you put on a new set of tires and you will get 200 thousand miles out of it.rollin coal, RERM and fordconvert Thank this. -
As predicted by many on TTR, the truck repos are escalating. The truck lots in my area are beginning to overflow. The detailing shops are VERY busy cleaning up the repos for the sales lots. We could be looking like Venezuela in the not too distant future

You guys look like you are competing who predicts worse feature. Anybody optimistic over here? I actually see freight volume and rates are picking up. Granted it's mostly south for now, but still, it's better than it was for the last couple of months
