You better take what you read here with a grain or a lot of salt. Loading a flat out of New England to nc for two bucks a mile 1500 to nc . Is a big stretch .you do get pretty good rate from tx to co rates for a flat out of co. 80 to 1.00 if you find anything.

Now that being said. I did have my own truck and step leased to crst 6 years ago. They do have a sum better options then others like mercer for example they will let you broker a load they don't expect you to sit and if you find a better load then the agent has they will let you take the broker load. I actually ran more broker loads then crst loads when I was there. But I don't think you can show a $1500 load out of ma. To nc period

I haul for an agent that gets his freight direct. Minus 25% no extra BS off. Only a few of us haul for him consistently. I try not to haul cheap unless im in a bad area, even then id rather bounce. And i can go whenever i want.. Whenever i want. No one tells me what i can do. I cant help some of the idiots here are glued to their fleet managers hip. No micro managing for me, leave me alone i will let you know when i need something,
Lonesome Thanks this. -
That's good that's one of the things I liked about crst is they will leave you alone if you can do it. I did like working there but had my own trailer and decided to get my athority. How long was you there before you found out all the agents they claim they have aren't there out of the list they gave out only was about a third they actually had.
-
Not long lol. I mainky only pull for three agents anyway
-
@playamwj12 I assumed your were broken down because it had been so long between posts this time. Sorry to hear about the down time. Unfortunately, that is part of trucking.

Yep tractor protection valve failed on me. Lost air pressure and caused me to slide through an intersection trying to get to thr shop. Seems all fixee and ready to make $
