How much are they asking?
-
Total price is 51,700
-
By an pre emmissions truck for 10-15 thou and sink another 20 or so into it..Less shop time, more $ in your pocket
-
That's crazy expensive for over 600k miles. I just bought a 2011 Mack pinnacle with 377k miles for that.
-
Pre emissions is fine but doesn't work for everyone. What if you're business plan includes California?
-
You bought a Mack.... check the prices of other 2011 trucks under 400k miles. The two cheapest, by far and for good reason, are Prostars with Maxforce engines and Macks.
WitchingHour Thanks this. -
And what is that good reason for the Mack? I know the Maxxforce is horrible, but I guess you have to fill me in on the issues with Macks. I think there is a reason why there is a loyal following with Mack. I never even considered one until a buddy told me to test drive one and I've been hooked ever since. Yes it's not a 379 or a W900, but it's definitely better than the aero trucks being put out by everyone.

Well it was 46,950 I got it lowered to 44,950 and added the warranty on it to get it to 1,000,000 miles. I don't know much about the Paccar motor. I wanted to see what kind of mpg some of you get and if you think it's a good motor.
-
Mainly parts and repair on the road. You have a truck with a limited dealer network using an engine and electronics that most arent familiar with and dont have the diagnostics equipment to deal with.
Better than the aero trucks? Underneath the skin an aero truck is exactly the same as a classic styled truck.Last edited: May 28, 2016
