Got my trailer swapped to a 53' today for a repower and ill be keeping it. Last guy loaded it 3460 pounds over on the spread. So tomorrow i will try to figure out how to solve this issue... Malone should pay someone to move it forward.

    Kroozn20 and bigred81 Thank this.

Made it to Colorado without any tickets. Finishing a reset and delivering 15 miles away in the morning. Got a lead on a load loading close by going east hopefully i can make that work.

I can be home throughout the week and every weekend easily. Sometimes 7 days sometimes 75 days just depends on whats coming up at home and stuff.

When loading a 53' flat with a heavy load, you need to make sure to not put anything behind the spread. In fact, it is usually best to keep a heavy load in front of the spread. I am sure you will get the hang of it once you pull a few loads. I would make sure to weigh each heavy load until you get used to how to load a 53' trailer.

Unloading this morning in Rifle CO. Had an agent call me and wake me up with a 30k no tarp load in Grand Junction CO going to Mathis TX moneys not great but.. You make your money going into bad areas. I'll still profitable on the load and not lose my ###. Anytime you get out of CO with a 65 mile bounce consider yourself blessed!!

I would say you scored pretty good getting out of Colorado. Light load, no tarp, 65 mile dh. The only downside I see is the destination. As I understand it, Texas in general is not a great place for flatbed work but you are going to the Corpus Christi area. Could be worse.

    Have a great week.
