My sister got me a book on cooking on the manifold a few years back for Christmas.

A different year she got me a book on cooking road kill.....

I haven't kept track of either. And don't recall what type of device was suggested to attach to the heating element.

    What's wrong with a 12V lunchbox oven?

Boy Scouts. Yep that is where I learned to cook with foil and the coals. Some of the best meals away from home I have ever had. Yummy. Now days with all the appliances available, I just cook in the cab. Not sure I want my potatoes tasting like oil or exhaust. Maybe a little blowby mixed in for additional flavor.
    Good luck.

Coleman sells a neat little camping oven about the size of small microwave, burner on top. This oven uses small propane bottles in cab use would be discouraged best use on catwalk or elsewhere. Some times I want fresh rolls and cookies oh and lasagna.

    Keep an eye out.
There are new microwave devices hitting the market soon that use solid state tech.
They will be more efficient and use less power, and smaller.
No more magnetron and cooling fans.

years ago a bracket above the turbo would cook just fine, pull a mountain grade and have lunch at the top. Now I just put a board between the seats, above the arm rests, then plug in my electric frying pan and in a few minutes dinner is done. 110 volt works off the inverter.

    horsecrazychic22 and KriegHund Thank this.

I have both the 12v lunch box and 12v crock pot. Both of them work very well.

I know that you can pore popcorn kernels
down straight pipes and make popcorn as you're going down the road.

    horsecrazychic22 Thanks this.
