So I bought a fitbit and I know while it's not totally accurate it says on a light day of work I'll walk about 12,000 and over 5 miles. On a heavy route I've walked over 16,000 steps.

I've been getting leaner but don't want to lose too much muscle. I thought of hitting the gym again

I use to but kind of fell off since having a kid...

3 of the guys at my work workout pretty steady. One of them does marathons and pretty much anything he can do as a hobby. Another guy is into powerlifting and the other just casually works out. It's a fun thing to do but I just don't have the time anymore with a new born. Probably will start back up sometime though.

-that's at my beer company at least.

The sysco yard I used to work out had a state of the art gym with brand new free weights and equipment, open 24 hrs and I would be the only person there whenever I used to go, had showers and everything

I don't qualify as "foodservice", but I deliver groceries. Last year I got on a workout kick and lost 36lbs by eating healthy and utilizing the gym that's located on company property. LIke @duckdiver said, the place was full of state of the art equipment and it was virtually empty.

Crazy thing is that I gained back 30 lbs and am feeling sluggish again. I really need to motivate myself somehow, but I like food WAY too much. So much of having a healthy lifestyle is mental.

Anyway, you foodservice guys bust your butt like no other, I don't know how in the heck you manage to workout after work. Lol. I started driving a Coke truck at age 18 and I used to hit the gym after work regularly, those were the days. Work all day, gym all evening, beer and pizza and burgers all night. Rinse and repeat. And I weighed about 160lbs back then, with probably ZERO body fat. My my my, how times have changed.

I do a lot of walking outside of work believe it or not, but I also walk a lot at work too. We used to have weights at my house, but since sold all of them off, I was never really into lifting anyhow so it doesn't matter.

I worked for PFG about ten years ago. They gave us pedometers as gifts once. I wore it several times at work, and I was in the range you are. They also paid part of our membership at a nearby gym, the rest was deducted by payroll. I did layover routes and rarely got enough sleep. I tried working out for a couple of months when I'd get in from my route. I stopped by the gym on the way home. I fell asleep several times between sets. After that time passed the deduction never started coming out of my check, so I just quit going. I don't think I was eating enough for the added exercise anyway. I was lean, but not really getting any bigger or stronger.

I watched this dude slinging milk. He had some of the biggest forearms I'd ever seen, was very lean also.

    Women also have a saying-

The difference between a husband & a boyfriend is about 25 pounds.

Men have a saying too, the difference between a girlfriend and a wife is 10 years and 150lbs.

How about when your wife has bigger arms and a bigger back then you, it's a sign that you better hit the gym because she's not.
