The short week was probably because of the holiday right? How did you end up with such a cheap payment? That's good to hear. And also, are there not any trailers @ the Birmingham terminal?

Yes sir, I believe you about referrals not being the intention of this thread. That's why I mentioned it. I have watched a few drivers on youtube and a lot of the time, the video ends with the driver saying "so when you come over to this company, use my name and truck number or driver code." That turns me off completely.

This thread is about you being successful, not you telling others how they can be successful. I don't think for a minute you are making a sales pitch to get others to come over to Malone but I also believe you are willing to assist current Malone drivers any way you can, short of giving away your contacts (and rightfully so). I have a great deal of respect for you because you are successful AND when others are asking what is a good flatbed company to work for, you don't jump in to those threads beating the drum for CRST Malone.

Like you, I am not a person who likes being in front of the camera. Some folks have a knack for it and can be instructional without sounding like they are talking down to you. Others who try to do it...not so much.

The exact interpretation I got from reading this. He's a good guy, giving his testimonial. I'm very grateful for it. Being that he started out in the same boat as me, is uplifting and is motivation. That I can be completely new to flatbed and still be successful. I will take the humble approach as well.

Question driver... Are you gettin pretty good mpg's being that were hauling pretty heavy freight most of the time? Also, hows it going this week? No numbers? I like to number crunch and play with figures, to know what to expect. Sorry if it sounds a little nosy.

I agree. Playa starting out with vans and then jumping into pulling a flatbed via lease/purchase and doing it with the level of success he has had is very inspirational. Your description of "uplifting and motivation" is a good choice of words also.

I have not pulled the trigger yet, but I am on the sideline watching and cheering him on, as well as you and all of the others who have posted in this thread. So far, this thread has been very civil and very helpful.

Should you decide CRST Malone is your new home, I wish you the best.

Thank you. The guys who try and feed from referrals without good intentions of actually helping the driver make me sick.

Thats it! Just here to show you can do well.

This week so far we are at $4100 worth of revenue to truck on 2600 total miles. Long light loads. Stilll two days left in the week to work after i deliver monday. Should be a 6k to truck week.

Appreciate it. Its fun, the work is hard but rewarding in the end i love what i do day in day out.
