WOW... about sums it up all right. I can think of a few more words but swearing is not really allowed on most chat forms. I am very surprised they were not shut down years ago.
But when they do.... OH BOY LOOK OUT, Parked trucks every where in every spot you can think of a truck would never been seen or go... Some funny and insane pictures on the internet then.

And that is why I hope to hear about any findings of the investigation, but I am told that will not be released to the public, not even the one who filed the complaint.... WTF? You would think that this would fall under the Freedom Of Information Act....

Hummmmmm....
I am almost thinking (This may sound a bit odd of an idea)
But that almost sounds like a Hillary Clinton M.O.
What is the chances she has a stake in SWIFT, I wonder.
Hide the truth and sweep it under the rug, M.O.
But information that deals with public safety on our roads and highways not be released to the public
Is not only wrong, but in fact smells of a massive cover up to me.
Someone is filling there pockets with pay off money or gifts I bet YA. -
If you were misclassified as an independent contractor, I would encourage you to contact the IRS whistleblower department. They work very very slow so don't expect results for years, but guys like me can't afford to legitimately hire drivers on w2 when the competition pays 20% less for its labor...

I don't really care about that as much the safety issues and dispatch issues....

Sorry broskie, you lost me after "I was forced to make a fast decision to get back to work after SWIFT terminated me".
Who forced you and what kind of force was bestowed upon you? -
Normally, I wouldn't respond to a post that wasn't helpful, but...
What few people know is that between 12/2013 and 8/2015, I was unemployed. Having been a resident manager with housing included in compensation, I was also homeless. I had 4 properties in 2012-2013 where I was collateral damage in situations not only outside my ability to control, but that existed long before I stepped onto them (2 properties sold, 1 was a slumlord who underpaid for the position and was taken by the bank, and another the owner severed the management agreement between him and the guy who hired me (and they were brothers). I refused to be in that situation again and changed careers.
I saw the Swift termination as being classified as ineligible for unemployment benefits as it would be classified under just cause since I violated a reasonable company rule(a friend of mine had the same outcome in a similar termination from Swift).
So now do you understand why I needed to make a quick decision?Last edited: Jun 5, 2016

Are you from Sacramento? Do you have your tanker endorsement?
-
The only endorsement I didn't get is hazmat(wanted to wait until first renewal for that in 2029), but thought I should get some significant miles before going out with tanker or doubles...
